Above and beneath this band are a blue and green triangle respectively. A gold sun with twelve triangular rays is situated on the hoist side of the upper triangle.

What is the Flag of Namibia?
The flag of Namibia is divided diagonally by a red band edged in white, running from the lower hoist to the upper fly. The upper triangle is blue and carries a gold sun; the lower triangle is green. It is not a horizontal tricolour.
